Urgent appeal to our supporters to help us raise funds towards completing our club improvement project.

Over the past few years we have been working really hard to improve tennis facilities for the community of West Dunbartonshire. We are a small family friendly club with many links to our wider community such as local schools, community groups and Health and wellbeing services across West Dunbartonshire.

Our tennis facilities have been a source of pride for our community, nurturing local talent and fostering a love for the sport. However, as the years have gone by, wear and tear have taken their toll. The courts are desperately showing signs of ageing and we have no lighting, making evening and winter play a challenge. We believe that a tennis facility upgrade is not just a renovation, but an investment in the future of our community both Kirktonhill and West Dunbartonshire, our youth, and the sport we all love.

Having successfully replaced our clubhouse in 2018, our next project is to improve our outside playing facilities to ensure year round tennis for all. So far we have managed to raise enough funds to replace the court surfaces but we urgently need additional funding to complete the project.

Our Vision:

1. Refurbished Courts: We aim to resurface and repaint our tennis courts, ensuring a safe and smooth playing surface for all. This will not only enhance the overall playing experience but also reduce the risk of injuries.

2. State-of-the-Art Lighting: Installing energy-efficient LED lighting will extend court availability into the evening, accommodating players with busy daytime schedules and allowing us to host more events throughout the year.

3. Accessibility: We want to make our facility more accessible to individuals with disabilities.

4. Improved Outdoor Amenities: Upgrading our on-site facilities, junior training areas, and seating areas, will make the overall experience more enjoyable for both players and spectators.

This project is an ambitious undertaking, and we cannot do it without your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal. We are extremely grateful to the grant funders and club members who have already financially supported us towards our vision and goals. However to enable us to complete the project we need your support and every contribution large or small is much appreciated.
