Hi everyone, well what can i say the level of help being offered to Helen is just amazing. Helen has always been the first person to step ip and help others and the last to ask for help. She has just gone through the terrifying ordeal of a housefire and lost everything and has she complained and crumbled no, she would have just struggled on. However i know Shetland is an amazing community who doesnt let folk struggle and helps when they can.

The donations of items being offered is fantatsic and a few of you have asked anout donating money to help, i have asked Helen about this and sge doesnt want to "make" money but any help would be amazing as she has nothing, we have said that the money raised will go towards flooring, bills etc and any excess will be donated to the amazing Lerwick Fire station as without their prompt reaction time and bravery it could have been much worse.
