    Story

Kirkstall Art Trail 2023 is a celebration of art in the community.

We are encouraging artists, makers, creative organisations, and workshop facilitators based in West Leeds and the surrounding areas to get involved in the trail. Creative organisations and workshop facilitators have the chance to run community-engagement activities – which might be emerging or existing ideas – in a friendly and lively setting. From professionals to people just starting out, we’re encouraging everyone to take part.

KAT2023 is volunteer-led and artist-focused. We are passionate about nurturing accessible and inclusive opportunities for creative people in our area - and require some funding to help us make KAT2023 the best it can be, while ensuring the trail can continue next year too.

We know that people might like to support KAT2023 in a range of ways - and being a sponsor is one!

We would welcome sponsorship from anyone, but understand that people might be able to give us different amounts depending on their ability to meet their basic needs and their expendable income.

If you frequently stress about affording food, housing, clothing and transportation, then we ask that you be honest with yourself and your financial situation before sponsoring us.

If you regularly meet your basic needs, or feel financially comfortable, please sponsor us by an amount that suits you best.

Your sponsorship will go towards a range of KAT2023 activities and legacy items, including but not limited to:

    - Graphic design, signage, banners, printed maps, printed posters

    - KAT merchandise

    - Workwear for trail volunteers on the KAT weekend

    - Lighting and sound equipment hire for certain venues

    - Supporting small art projects and facilitated workshops that form part of the trail, with the resources or access to expertise they require to run successfully

    - Liability insurance, and health&safety measures
