I've raised £500 to AssIst with Andrew Thompson’s medical treatment.

Andrew Thompson is a highly talented musician, musical director and teacher. Aged 31, Andrew is married with a young son. Andrew’s father Wesley and I have been friends since we first played together in the City of Belfast Youth Concert Band in the early 70s.
In December 2017 Andrew was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Surgery resulted in most, but not all, of the tumour being removed and there is a strong possibility that it will return. In order to avoid this Andrew has opted for treatment which is not provided by the NHS. As I’m sure you can imagine, this treatment is expensive, but Andrew’s many friends have supported him in various ways to raise funds to help with his expenses.
Andrew has responded well to the treatment but it is ongoing.
On Sunday 26th May I will be running in the Liverpool Rock & Roll Half Marathon. Liverpool is my home town and I am really looking forward to taking part in this event, taking in many iconic landmarks such as Albert Dock, Pier Head, the Liver Buildings and the Cavern.
I thought this would be a great opportunity to help Andrew as he continues his treatment. I appreciate that many of Andrew’s friends have already been extremely generous in their support; however, I would be extremely grateful for any contributions that would help Andrew continue with his treatment.
