I've raised £500 to help Kilburn Park School create a school garden for pupils and families

I am a governor at Kilburn Park School along with Mary Arnold (also pictured above - we are second and third from left). Like many schools in our local area Kilburn Park has had a difficult year during the covid pandemic, not just with school closures and remote learning, but also internal flooding and roof repairs.
I want to raise money specifically to allow the school to make the most of 8 raised beds they have on the grounds for planting and growing seeds with the children. We need soil and seeds and other basic garden equipment.
I believe that growing food together will enhance the mental health and wellbeing of the students and staff alike.
To raise this money I am taking part in the Triathlon at Blenheim Palace on 11th September 2021.
I will be doing the SuperSprint which involves a 400 metre open-water swim, a 13.3 km bike ride and 2.9 km run. I will be training along with an amazing 200+ people from across the Kensal Rise community. Together we are supporting more than 25 local charities.
Please sponsor me and Kilburn Park via this page!
