Introduction:

In the peaceful town of Southport, a tragic event has left our community heartbroken and searching for ways to heal. The recent mass stabbing has forever changed the lives of many, leaving victims and their families in desperate need of support. In response, we are coming together to host a football tournament, not just to raise funds, but to show solidarity, compassion, and hope.

The Cause:

On the 29th July, Southport was shaken by a senseless act of violence that claimed lives, injured many, and scarred our community. Families have been torn apart, loved ones lost, and survivors are left with physical and emotional wounds that will take years to heal. The costs of medical treatments, counseling, and rebuilding lives are immense, and many are struggling to cope with these sudden burdens.

The Event:

To rally around those affected and provide much-needed assistance, we are organising a charity football tournament, at Marine Football Club on the 17th August 2024. This event will bring together teams from across the region in a show of unity and support.
