Story
People who wear hope and optimism when wake up in the morning and walk around as prisoners of hope are found in the slums of Kibera. Abdul Kassim is a point of life and a source of hope for these girls. As a friend of Kibera Girls Soccer Academy, I am reaching out to those who are able to help provide much needed help. Let us generate hope and optimism in these slums.
The reality was captured in a TV Programme: Rich Famous and in the Slums when four celebrities lived and worked in the Slums. Angela Rippon, Sir Lennie Henry, Samantha Womack and Reggie Yates can testify firsthand what it means to be a member of Kibera Slums. Teachers and others have used it to show the extent of poverty and the change that is needed to help bring about some dignity to many who live there.
Please help provide some much needed help in these dire times.
