I've raised £4591 to Assist Kevin who needs your help to improve his quality of life. He will be able to be proactive and effective in the things he does

Kevin needs a new wheelchair to help improve his quality of life and give him much more independence. As he does not have the funds for this can we help him by crowdfunding. Let's all help get Kevin his wheelchair!
So imagine you had a broken foot or leg, but the NHS can’t do anything to help. That’s how it feels, in my case; my wheelchair IS my legs, I rely on it to move around I do absolutely everything apart from showering that would bring up other challenges. But, my chair frequently gets broken and in part is inappropriate for my daily life and environment that it seriously limits the things I can do and places.
I started using a wheelchair 12 years ago, it is necessary for me to mobilise after being ill and hospitalised. Using the chair its a skill of its own, getting about in a chair can at times be a task that brings up circumstances that are challenging but I learned how to quickly assimilate and adapt. I’ve soldiered on and built reasonable biceps in the process.
But however how skilled I became, I am limited by the chair itself. My chair is a fairly basic one, and is now showing its age. It often breaks and is in need of repair, often at times when accessing that repair isn’t available for example the other day when I travelled to Portsmouth a front wheel fell off. It was repairable but that sort of thing is going to keep happening and going to keep throwing off whole days and impacts negatively on any enjoyment I might have.
The money raised will go directly to Kevin, to assist him in getting a new wheelchair and a bike attachment, this will make Kevin chair use much easier going over cobbles and also going over grass when he goes to see his friend play rugby; and even doing a simple task as going to the park.
I have asked the NHS for a replacement chair and I was told that it is not going be granted. Id like to have a back up chair to ease the worry about the incidence when either chair breaks down.
I work in retail and have an active social life. I volunteer for a few charities, so I need some help to get a chair to conduct these tasks.
The costs of the chair £1,496 and the bike is £3,095.
A modern chair with a wheel aid at the front sort of like a bike chain so I can ‘pedal’ with my hands allowing me to get about and not worry about simple surfaces like cobbles and other terrain such as grass, with my current chair it slows me to a snail’s pace or even shaking loose parts of the chair, then increases the potential of the chair being damaged, this chair would also would provide a means of vital exercise.
The chair I have in mind isn’t top of the range but it will do all that. It is Argon 2 and, with the wheel aid, would cost £4,591 this is for both the bike and the chair.
