The Tomatis method is a music listening therapy programme which provides engaging brain stimulation to help ameliorate a range of problems our children face. This new scheme targets children with ADHD, Autism and Emotional Trauma. A special headset that transmits sound through earphones (air conduction) but also by bone vibrations (Bone conduction) helps to increase Learning ability, increase concentration and attention spans, as well as reducing tiredness in the children. By exercising the two small muscles controlling the eardrum in one ear allows the brain to continually re-energize reducing tiredness. This is a brand new Pilot scheme that will go on to provide statistics, hopefully in growing the scheme to a much larger case study. The scheme is already showing some marked success in its use but needs to provide enough data to build a proper case study that is meaningful in its statistics. This is a really special scheme that potentially has the ability to stop young adults from entering the workplace with uncertificated conditions using 21st century technology.

A second part of this fund raising project will allow the school to purchase 3 Smart Defibrillators for use both in the school and its 500 pupils as well as in the wider community by being on a register of Smart Defibrillators that can be used by Para Medics etc in the local area to the school.
