Story
Want to make a donation to KHV research without committing to a high value auction?
We’ve been amazed at the generosity of carp anglers wanting to support the KHV fund raiser – so we’re offering you a chance to donate and still go into a draw for great prizes.
We’ve added two individual places on the Nash Mega Weekend Social at Royston (value £200 per place) in to the prize pot, winner picked at random from anyone who donates a minimum of £10. Or you could win one of two places for a wicked day at Nash HQ. Meet Kev, meet Alan, tour the Nash design and development offices, visit the new Burnham premises and new bait making unit and then even better get to flip a couple of Sawn-Offs into the office lake behind Alan’s desk!
The carp go to over 30 lb! Make sure you don’t make your donation anonymous on the JustGiving page, or it won’t be you!
We need to be able to identify and contact donations to make them part of the draw!!
Kevin Nash and Nash Tackle are raising £20,000 to help kick start cutting edge research into Koi Herpes Virus that could help keep your sport secure for future generations. Working with University of East Anglia’s Dr. Jackie Lighten, this vital work aims to establish the link between genetics and resistance in carp to KHV – offering a future where carp all around the world could be farmed with natural resistance to this potential killer disease.
Give generously – never before has there been such an important fund raising project to help secure the sport you love. KHV remains the biggest threat to carp angling worldwide, the angling trade and wider fish farming industries across the globe.
