I've raised £3650 to Help Dover Rnli and Community first responders buy essential equipment to help keep us safe. Also supporting Breast cancer now, #CTC2019

So being inspired by a young lady called Molly Smith (mollyruns365) I've decided to try and challenge myself and run a minimum of 5k everyday for a entire year, starting on my birthday January 1st 2019.
I felt that if I was going to attempt this, then being from Dover and having friends in both camps I would like to help our volunteer based emergency services, The Dover Rnli and Dover community first responders . I'll also be making a donation to BCN who I've supported in the past and will continue to do so.
The runs themselves will be across lots of different distances these will take place at local events, club runs as well as the Brighton and London marathons, with a Clifftop challenge distance 36 mile ultra being covered as well. Such a great event!!
I'll be sharing/updating the story on usual social media sites Facebook and Instagram (keep_the_hart_running). The runs will be uploaded to my Strava account too.
Once the challenge has finished I'll then pass the funds onto the reps of the respective causes, minus the usual fees from justgiving. I would like to thank the support of the local businesses involved and both sets of crews for giving up thier time to meet me especially Ben and Clare who helped piece it all together. Also a special mention my long suffering wife Claire who puts up with these cranky ideas, again!
Thanks for taking the time to read my story, hopefully a few of you will join me, roll on January 1st!
