On Wednesday evening 26th if january during a training session for my u18s one of my players collapsed due to a suspected cardiac arrest he is only 17 this has been a shock to the system and something that has effected me more than I can put in to words but due to the fast actions of my fellow coach's and my amazing group of players he is making the right steps to recovery I also need to mention the sports centre staff that came with the defibrillator that basically saved his life together with the fast action s of everyone involved and my players a fine group of young men who stayed with him throughout helped flagged the ambulance down and constantly talked throughout this has pushed my lads in to doing a fundraiser to raise awareness of cardio arrest in young people and raise money to obtain another Defibrillator that has the power to save a life please donate as proved this equipment is life saving we will be walking snowdonia on the 9th of April myself and the whole team many thanks
