Story
My husband, Andy Rowland, regrettably passed away in July last year after being struck down by the cruel disease that is called ALS (MND).
Both Andy and I were contributing to the cost of educating our 2 children and because of Andy’s loss, we are going to find it much harder to meet this very significant but critical expense.
Our youngest child is our son Jaimy. He just turned 18 years old and in the next school year, he is hoping to start a Business Studies course at the VU University in Amsterdam. This is a 3 year bachelor degree, after which he can take up a Masters programme for 1 or 2 years. He is undecided on career choice , but he might follow his dad’s footsteps into banking.
Our daughter Kelly is our oldest. She is just 20 years old and she is looking into starting her further education with the goal of becoming a teacher. She hopes to start at the HVA in Amsterdam in September 2018 and to qualify in 4 years time. Your donation will be of immense help to the children in these difficult times. Thank you so much for helping them to have a good start in their adult life and to ensure that their Dad would be very proud of them.
