Story
Mark, Jimmy, Dave & James are running the Paras' 10 in Colchester on 18th May. Not only are they running a 10mile race, but they are doing this with a 35lb Bergen bag on their backs! On their bags will be a picture of our little girl Megan, and the lads would like to raise some money and awareness for our little girl.
Megan was 2 years old when diagnosed with a rare lung tumour that would take her from us quickly. The support we received during Megan’s short time fighting her cancer was invaluable and although research to prevent and cure this terrible disease is fundamental, whilst you are living it, it is the support you receive that stays with you. We want to help those who support families like ours when we need it the most.
In memory of Megan we raise money for Ronald McDonald House, Glasgow. The Teapot Trust and also for the Children's Ward of the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy all of whom supported us in our darkest of times and helped our little girl as much as possible.
Thank you Mark, Jimmy, Dave & James for thinking of our family and for pushing yourself to the extreme! For more information on the race, and on what we do as part of Megan's Journey, please see the links below.
