Story
Charlie is a 12 year girl who just over a year ago was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer called DIPG. There is no cure or treatment in the UK but there is a treatment called immunetherapy available in Germany for a fee of 40K. The family have tried in vain to secure the money from the NHS but sadly they gave been told they have to foot the bill themselves.
I will be running the 5k Race for life and the money I raise will be going towards Charlie's Germany fund.
I am not built for running, I can't even run to the garden gate -haha - but I am determined to give this challenge my all.
