I've raised £5000 to support the growing number of students at Kingston College in Jamaica who require financial assistance to access school and thrive

KINGSTON COLLEGE , Jamaica, West Indies
The sponsored walk will involve KCOBA UK-EUROPE members covering a 10 km route around Trent Park in Enfield http://trentcountrypark.com/Welcome.html on Sunday 30th August 2020.
Founded in 1925 the School has, for the entirety of its 95 years existence, provided a sound educational package to boys from some of the poorest sections of Kingston and surrounding parishes.
They have managed - through sheer will and philanthropy – to enable all students who pass through their gates to access high quality teaching and welfare support which has, in turn, fostered a culture of inclusion and social responsibility that is evident in the numerous alumni dotted all over the world.
Each of the Alumni Associations around the world has the key responsibility of maintaining a network of old boys who are intent on giving back through fundraising, mentoring and strategic support to the school leadership. It is this culture that has driven forward the creation of the UK and Europe chapter and we are embarking on a major and sustained fundraising drive in order to support the growing number of students who require financial assistance in order to access school and thrive.
We will run, walk, jog, skip or hobble along – all while wearing something purple and doing our bit to burn some calories and have a laugh in the name of fundraising.
Please show your support by donating towards this venture. Proceeds will go towards the various projects at KC and your donation, however small, will be greatly appreciated , especially during this pandemic which has exacerbated the need for your support.
Thanks in advance for your contribution.
