On the 2nd of March 2020 a great human being and great friend to many of us was taken before his time by Cancer. Chris Au was one of the most well-known and well-liked people amongst the South Wales music scene (and way, way beyond) and he sadly passed just days before his 38th birthday.

Since then the pandemic has prevented many of us from being able to truly celebrate his life in as many ways as we would have wished, but that's not going to stop us from continuing to do so.

Cue the planning of two glorious celebrations of Chris's Life & times:

March 5th 2022 would have been Chris' big 4.0 and as such it was proposed that a marathon music stream of ridiculous proportions (designed to raise money for three charities in Chris' name, Marie Curie Cancer care, Head's Above the Waves, Gig Buddies) was sufficiently insane that Chris would have both loved it and laughed his head off as the hours tick on.
