,5 years ago my mum passed away at the age of 54 (almost 55). On the 29th March she would have been 60 years old. To mark this milestone birthday in her memory and honour, along with my best friend Amy Smith we are running at least 3 10ks this year - Minch, Gloucester and Frampton to raise money for The Life Coach To provide much needed services and mental health management aids for young people.

My mum suffered with her mental health from a young age and into adulthood and I know she would be proud to support this organisation in her name.

Tom Hoskins is the owner of Chance is change! and passionate about making a change and taking a stance against mental health difficulties. Some of you may already know, of Tom who works within schools around the Gloucestershire area and is already working in Stonehouse and Cainscross.

By launching ‘THE LIFE COACH’ - a safe space on wheels, it allows Tom to take his office with him when travelling to to different locations and park up at the schools to invite any students on board. With his years of experience and knowledge I am confident that he makes a really positive and secure environment for any of the young people whom He helps. feel it is something that has not been done and that my students will appreciate the modern take! Whilst obtainjng funding from loacal sources is amazing Tom and the team would like to be able to provide mood bands and mental health aids to all who need it free if charge.

The system to help out young people theough mental health issues, is not working and does not provide help quick enough or tailor treatment to each young persons needs. Many families cannot afford private help. Toms aim is to help support young people through an extremely diffivult time and understand that its ok.and at no cost to them.

I believe our young people are the future - lets look after them.
