On the 23rd July I am going to be running / possibly walking the Snowdonia Trail Marathon!
Ascending 1,685 metres over 26 miles of iconic and spectacular trails, this epic race will circumnavigate and eventually climb Wales' highest peak - Snowdon. 

The training for this race has been really challenging trying to fit in long runs where I can and most recently struggling in the heat, not so much fun!!! Despite the moaning I do like a challenge and to make it more worthwhile I decided some time ago that I wanted to raise some money for our wonderful pre school that has looked after all 3 of my boys and given them the best possible start to their education.

The pre school is charity run and a voluntary parent management committee runs the group so to be able to help give back a bit to them would be fantastic. They are hoping to build an outdoor learning classroom soon so any money raised will be put towards this.

I know most of you will either have a child at the school or know someone who has been a part of it so am sure you will know already how fantastic the staff are and how important it is that we keep it going.

If you can spare a few pounds for this worthy cause it would mean a lot and would certainly spur me on up that mountain!!
