On the 9th April I'll be running the Paris marathon, 26.2 miles of struggle

Before the 21st January (the morning a crazy idea became stark reality) I'd never even run outside in the U.K so during the short period it's been a massive challenge.

We've trained in snow, sub zero temperatures, high winds (Storm Doris) and knowing our luck there will be a heatwave on race day.

I've found it a thousand times harder than imagined but I really hope the dedication and countless street pounding will pay off.
