Story
Adam Henshall Jones and his wife YY were saving to put money in his account for them to move back to England to be with his family and make their life back in England. but now this terrible tragedy has happened all their money has been used.
Adam has suffered with headaches and migraines his whole life and this week on the 7th of October he fell whilst out shopping and was taken by ambulance to hospital. He had a scan which found he has three blood clots on his brain. These blood clots could explain the pain he's been in his whole life. He has had one operation to try and drain one of the clots.
The operations and hospital care in China have to be paid for and its going to cost his family tens of thousands of pounds. This has come as a horrendous shock to all of his family, more so his parents Carl and Karen. They are now fighting to get there ASAP to be with Adam. They are trying to get their visas and flights out there as soon as they can but are having to wait for visas.
We want to try and raise any money we can to help Adam and his parents to fund any of his care. The recovery from this first operation is three months so you can imagine the spiralling costs his parents are facing. It's a living nightmare for us all. We would appreciate any help.

8 years agoThought I'd write a note for the Just Giving page. First of all, Karen and I would like to thank each and every one of you for your generosity. Adam and YY have been bowled over by the messages and money donated. It was a comfort to us all, to see that so many people were wishing us well. People we have known from years ago. And total strangers. It has been extremely moving to read your messages. Thank you, they really helped us at a very dark time. Adam is recovering really well after his first operation......

8 years agoHi everyone. The latest update is that Adam has been discharged from hospital to recover and get himself stronger for the next stage of his recovery which may be around 3 months time. He is doing so much better but has a long way to go. He's now on medication for the aneurysms and taking epilepsy tablets for the seizures he had. He has been walking a little and his family are now feeding him up to get him fatter as he's lost a considerable amount of weight.

So sad to hear such awful news! If Adam receives half the kindness his Mum showed the children during her time at Raglan Road he will be doing well. Thoughts are with you all, the Sowerby Family xx
