Thought I'd write a note for the Just Giving page. First of all, Karen and I would like to thank each and every one of you for your generosity. Adam and YY have been bowled over by the messages and money donated. It was a comfort to us all, to see that so many people were wishing us well. People we have known from years ago. And total strangers. It has been extremely moving to read your messages. Thank you, they really helped us at a very dark time. Adam is recovering really well after his first operation......

Hi everyone. The latest update is that Adam has been discharged from hospital to recover and get himself stronger for the next stage of his recovery which may be around 3 months time. He is doing so much better but has a long way to go. He's now on medication for the aneurysms and taking epilepsy tablets for the seizures he had. He has been walking a little and his family are now feeding him up to get him fatter as he's lost a considerable amount of weight.

Adams parents are on their way and will soon be reunited with him after their long journey. It will be an emotional reunion! Thankyou to everyone and the anonymous £1000!!! Your are all amazing xx
