Story

I want to encourage more students to cycle to school-Priory Belvoir Academy in Bottesford Leics, to help the environment, keep fit and reduce the number of cars driving down a dead end to take students to school. There is a clear danger to the students who walk to my school and to the primary school next door due to congestion and bad parking. I want students to bike to school but they are put off as there is no safe space at school for bikes to be left. I want to create secure and dry cycle shelters so bikes can be left, safe from theft, rain, wind and snow!

I am doing a challenge-to run/cycle or swim a mile every day for 26 days so i basically cover a whole marathon! it will be a tough challenge as my rare neurological condition means I struggle with balance and coordination. I cant ride a bike, but I have a very funky special trike! I start on September 1st.2023.

hello, i hope everyone had a nice Christmas. i have decided my next challenge will be to trike around the whole of Rutland Water on February 11th and i have a few people wanting to join me. it is 26 miles- keeping to my "26" theme! i did the 18 mile ride there 2 years ago when i raised money for the sensory garden. it took me 6 hours. i now have a better trike for rough paths so i hope to be quicker this time!

Hello! My first challenge was completed and I really enjoyed it. My next one is to trike 26 miles around Rutland Water - Sunday 11 th Feb if anyone fancies joining me. I am also going to try a steps challenge after that. Thank you for supporting me

Hello everyone I have a few more days of this challenge left and I am loving the exercise. It has got easier as the days have gone on. People have encouraged me which has been amazing My next challenge is triking all the way around Rutland water after half term!
