After multiple surgeries, we have found out harrysson has lots of medical issues his biggest being his bladder and kidneys, he recently went for a 7 hour long surgery to create a mitrofanoff so we can drain his bladder, we have been told his bladder issues are due to a muscular genetic condition we keep getting different things from his neurologist but no straight answers which as a mum is killing me his day to day life is so hard for him his mobility since surgery has got so bad to the point his legs spasms are so bad he crumples up and can't move since having his latest surgery his neurologist has stopped the one medicine that would help him and is now refusing to give him the meds until he has MRI and lumber puncture done which means number 21 anaesthetic. It's not fair he needs these meds. He is just 4 and now he is stuck in his wheelchair which is not helping him at all I don't want to keep putting him through pain it's all he has known since 5 weeks old. He is due to start school in September if he don't get this medication he won't be able to go to school with his sisters as his mobility won't improve. I have found an amazing neurologist in Harley Street but it cost thousands I have £1000 put away for him but to run all tests it's going to cost more than what I have. I'm so desperate to make my child's life as normal as it can be it upsets me so much everyday seeing his little legs seize to the point he can't move I have been patient with the NHS but enough is enough now. I'm looking at doing fundraising anyway I can to get harrysson there. He deserves answers not just putting him through proceedure after proceedure just in the hope it will work it's not fair.
