Team Blanco cycling team has been setup as a dedicated charity cycling team in conjunction with the Burnham On Sea Lions Club, a local charity group within the community. We focus on dedicated cycling fund raising events, where all the funds raised goes direct to the Lions where they support and look after people in need within the community. Our last event was cycling on the turbo trainers the length of Britain to raise funds for little Freddy Vallander who needed a major heart operation in the USA. (Freddy is now doing great) We aim to raise as much as we can throughout the year for our local charity. As we are an endurance cycling team, we also undertake world record rides, bringing something back to the community, so April 27th 2018 we are setting off from John O Groats to Lands end in a bid to secure a record time of 40hrs in our 4 man individual team relay. On this occasion,, we need your help, we need to raise £400 to secure a motorhome that will be a vital part of the world record ride, aiding riders recovery and crew recovery throughout the event.
