I've raised £5000 to support the family of Emma Mim Baker-Cooke

During the evening on 28th December, Simon Baker-Cooke lost his wife and best friend Emma Mim. Molly-Boo, Alfred and Arthur lost their mum far too young - days after Christmas and days before Alfred's birthday.
Emma Mim has been described by her friends as colourful, beautiful, caring, fun and an incredible artist instrumental in YEAST scrapstore.
My heart has been breaking thinking about the family.
As a mum I know I'd want the community around my family to support them in any way they could if my family was ever in this situation. I'm sure many of you have been lost for words and actions which feel like they can make a difference to them.
I have checked with Simon before setting up this fundraiser. I have had the privilege of getting to know Simon through many shared community activities including the St Dunstans School Governing Board. I know he finds it easier to help others than accept help (like all the best people). The fundraiser is to support the family to cover costs at this difficult time.
Hopefully also to have enough money for the children to have something to look forward to doing in the future - when they feel ready.
The community in Glastonbury always amazes me with their generosity - let's all wrap round the Baker-Cooke family by supporting in any way you can.
Thank you 💜
