K2 support for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine

Alongside our friends at Aon, FRA, and Situ, K2 UK team members successfully completed the 2022 Race to the King challenge, walking 100km over 2 days on 11th and 12th June!

Our teams and partners have been actively providing service support and information to our global clients, relocating employees and assignees who work and live there.

We also want to play our part in supporting humanitarian efforts and have been seeking how we can best do this. To this end, K2 Global CEO Nick Plummer visited Poland to offer direct action support. This included funding the provision of essential support needed at this time, including minibus supply to help with transportation across the border, accommodation for displaced families, and essential supplies for the local refugee camps.

Whilst there he identified a local Polish NGO, Proem (https://proemministries.org/) who, like many Polish NGOs, has pivoted to focus on delivering fundamental support at the Poland/Ukraine border.

K2 has now donated towards their important work and also set up this employee and partner fundraising initiative to contribute to their essential work on the ground.
