This is JW. He grew up in London with three siblings and a single mum. When he was 9, he had meningitis which left him partially deaf. Due to his condition, he finds it hard to hold down a job, and has been in and out of employment. He's currently out on the street as he cannot afford to contribute to the expenses at home.

He also has a passion: music. He uses the vibrations to "feel" the music. He composes his own lyrics and has even recorded some of his own stuff.

He's just been offered a place at Notting Hill Academy of Music by the progressive leaders there who saw potential. They are not charging him for the place.

The course is 9 months long and in order to focus, he really needs some funds to live from, or he will remain in the street, without enough to even get there on the train each day from his home in East London.

There are many in our society who have not enjoyed the privilege that many of us who donate enjoy. We can each make a difference. This is an opportunity to contribute to one person's turn around story - and make all the difference in the world for him.
