Yesterday @it.troops.ua in Irpen thanked us on Insta for our supplies delivery .... 'London calling! British friends sent our boys a bunch of useful things: thermal vision, night vision, tourniquets, binoculars, powerbanks, t-shirts, military pants, boots, shoes, boxers, and phone chargers. We thank our friends from the foggy Albion from the bottoms of our hearts @hayitsdavid, @margaretgilmore121, @jw_collective, @janemurchwhite, @spud2006, and @sasha_bevka. Together to victory!'

And so, after just five days, our mission ended on Friday evening with our Ukrainian families safely delivered to their UK hosts. Our huge thank again to our generous sponsors and to Brockhurst & Marlston House school for trusting us with their minibus. Slava Ukraini!

We’re now on the 1,200 mile journey home. Amongst Ukrainians we’re bringing back are Liudmyla and her daughter Kate who’s spent the journey doing her school lessons live online, and Alla from Kharkiv who is 64 and spent three days and nights escaping the bombs and bullets to get to us in Warsaw. Their husbands stayed behind. They’re exhausted, quiet and tearful when we talk about what they’ve left behind.
