Story
Many of you reading this will have met Jacqui and been touched by her enthusiasm, her support for the Trust movement and the individuals involved in Trusts up and down the country. You may also know she is very ill and has lost the financial support of her employer.
This fund raising effort has been started to ensure that Jacqui doesn't have to worry financially despite being cast adrift by her employer. As one staunch supporter of the SD movement says, "We will not let Jacqui suffer as a result of the disgraceful behaviour of her employer, Supporters Direct. Our doing this must not in any way be seen as removing their responsibility to pay Jacqui and we will not let up in our campaign for ~justice4Jac"
This page, therefore, has been set up to help Jacqui in her hour of need and any contribution is a sign of support for her and shows the true compassion that a Co-Operative of like-minded people can deliver. I would hope that Trusts and all Trust members would support this campaign. Thanks in anticipation.

8 years agoJust to let you know, I have been contacted by a supporter of Jacqui that she would like the Crowdfunder to be suspended. She is not feeling too well and had some bad news about her illness last week which some of you may have seen on her Facebook page. I think the sooner she gets this donation the better so following her request I have contacted Just Giving and donations will not be possible after midnight tonight. Just a huge THANK YOU to all those who have supported this campaign. I understand it gave Jacqui a big morale boost! Cheers, Rick

8 years agoHello to all supporters of Jacqui Forster. Having spoken to Jacqui on Sunday she is appreciative of the support given to date. I think we all realise she is fighting cancer and it is a horrible disease and any one of us could face the same situation in the future. The amount raised is fantastic and is a sign of the support she deserves. Thanks to everyone who has made a contribution!

I just happen to be someone who has been lucky enough to meet Jacqui on a number of occasions when dealing with Supporters Direct and was always impressed by her commitment to the SD movement and the ideals they promote. She deserves our support at this bad time.
