In the summer of 2022, me and the rest of my World Challenge team will be going on an exciting expedition to Northern Tanzania. On the expedition we will be visiting key landmarks like the Ngorongoro Crater, we will be trekking and following the footsteps of a Masaai tribe and learning about their culture, and most importantly, we will be assisting in performing vital elephant conservation work at a nearby elephant sanctuary and charity, where a small proportion of your donation money will be going towards. This expedition is also designed to help support small African communities (the Masaai people and their helpers, as well as the local businesses) to support their traditional culture and livelihoods through your donations. To try and raise money, we're asking our friends, teachers, and family members to sponsor our walk from Land's End to John o' Groats , which is about 874 miles per person. It will be a challenge but hopefully this will prepare us for the long walking that we will be doing in Northern Tanzania.
