Story
My name is Juliet and i have been battling a rare muscle cancer called Leiomyosarcoma since July 2020. My journey began with a ruptured fybroid leaving me in a critical condition in intensive care. I had surgery to remove the fybroid and then went on to have a laparotomy and a full abdominal hysterectomy. I went home to recover from surgery and 6 weeks later another tumour was found to be growing in my abdomen. In December 2020 I started my fight through vigorous chemotherapy, followed by surgery to have the tumour removed. After the operation I had a long period of radio therapy to burn off any excess cancer left from the surgery. I have had sepsis and other complications (too many to list) and yet I have remained positive and hopeful through-out that life is still possible for me and that my life is worth fighting for. I am 40 years old and I have 2 beautiful children who need their mum and yet I have just been given the news that I have 4 more growths in the lower part of my abdomen and the NHS are saying No to surgery. They are saying ‘no‘ because there is a chance the tumours will then spread to my vital organs but there is also a chance it wont, and I am not ready to call it quits on the gift of life I have been given. I am due to have a consultation with a private London hospital who believe they can offer additional treatments that the NHS can‘t. This is going to be costly and I need help, so for the first time in my life, I am humbling asking that people would give financially to help me get the treatment I need to survive.
Please give, Please pray for me, Please share
