This is Jules. I started following her on Twitter a few years ago as she was funny, witty and sparkling! I looked forward to her tweets as they often made me laugh and I was pretty much in awe of this very sassy lady.
Jules made a big decision to give up work and start studying and I had nothing but respect for such a brave decision.
At first she was the same old sparkling person I had come to (sort of) know and I continued to look forward to her posts. However Jules started to experience some really difficult time, mostly financial although there were a few other hairy moments too but she came through it all.
Then her tweets became even darker and I watched in despair as she fell on increasingly difficult times. I was moved to help but I am only one person and I cannot do this all by myself.
She had the opportunity to go to the USA as part of her studies but seems to be at a crossroads of making the decision not to go as she cannot afford it. I was gutted for her as were many others
It struck me that if we did not have Twitter, the only way we would see such wit and charm was in newspaper columns and magazine articles. We would all have willing paid for such publications and people like Jules would have been paid for her skill. But Twitter is a hard taskmaster. It demands contributions from its members and gives little in return.
I am asking all the followers of Jules to make a contribution to recognise the reason why you started following her. She currently has over 2000 followers and if you all gave a £1 it would help her enormously, possible even getting her that dreamed of trip to the USA. If you all gave her £10 it would probably clear all her woes and allow the original, witty, sassy Jules to re-emerge stronger and fitter. If you could give more then the sky would be the limit.
