Hi my name is Evan, i am 17 , I have Down syndrome and iI am also partially sighted, to keep me fit and active during the lock down my Dad asked me to go for walks with him, he‘s always asked but ive never been bothered, i give in and started going out with him after he told me if i walked a 100 mile over the lock down he would donate a 100.00 to Cheesy waffles, the group i attend for children and young adults with additional needs, Me and my friends would all be lost with out this group as they teach us life skills as well as having fun, as this is a charity run group they have no income over tbis period so every penny helps . We just started to keep me fit but then a friend of ours Nigel Dodds set me another challenge, he said if I walk the distance of an Iron man which is a 140.6 mile ( obviously over a matter of weeks ) he would also donate, Also some fantastic people have said they would like to supoort me with the challenge so to make it easy for any body who would like to donate you can do it through just giving, thank you for taking the time to read my story, if there is any spelling mistakes blame my dad as he wrote this.🤣
