Hi everyone!

In the past couple of days over 300,000 people from Ukraine came to Poland running away from the war. The situation on the border is difficult. Polish people are doing a fantastic job helping however they can, not only in the country but also all over the world. Polish communities in the UK have organised many collection points for the necessities. Unfortunately, most of the callings are in Polish. We want to extend these efforts to all of our international friends from university and beyond. I (Julia) and Tomasz and fundraising the money so that we can buy the most necessary products and deliver them to the collection point at BeeHouse Deansgate Locks, 2 Whitworth Street, M1 5LH on Friday, 4th March. The products will be packed and sent to the Polish border on the next day. The collection is supported by the Polish Society at University of Manchester and Polish Intergation Support Center.

The products needed are:

-sanitary pads, tampons

-nappies

-wet wipes

-dresding/bandages

-foil survivor blankets

-paracetamol/ibuprofen

-first aid kits

-sleeping bags/blankets

-metal cups

-thermal clothing

-toothbrushes.

We will buy the necessary products as listed above and deliver them to the collection point together with the Polish Society.
