Hi all my lovely mum was diagnosed with mixed Dementia last year. it was inevitable due to her age but none the less heartbreaking for me and my family. I have worked with the elderly and Dementia for many years and have seen how this can impact not only the person but family members.

i have also seen the wonderful work of the dementia team and staff including the dementia admiral nurses and how they have supported mum and myself.

i think its time to give a bit back to this wonderful charity so i decided to the walk with two of my friends on Sunday 20th September.
