Story
We are raising money in memory of our beautiful babies Jude and Bayden Hoyles.
This money is so we can buy a cuddle cot for the Heath hospital. We are doing this through Scips (supporting parents & families of special care babies) charity. Registered charity number: 511056.
We got to bring our beautiful Jude home from hospital and spend the night with him because we had the use of a cuddle cot which kept our boy the correct temperature to keep him looking good after he had passed. This meant our family had precious moments and cuddles in our own home with our baby.
The cuddle cots are £1700 each and we get to put a memory plaque on it in memory of Jude and Bayden, so all the heart ache and pain we went through, we somehow get something positive from it.
We are also raising £5000 to sponsor a room at the Ronald Mcdonald House who helped house us whilst Jude was in hospital.
It is important to be close to your child whilst in hospital and thanks to this charity we could stay onsite near Jude. The house provides an ensuite bedroom and shared lounge and kitchen. It doesnt cost you to stay in the house, and they have everything for you to feel home from home, which is important to feel as normal as possible in these situations.
Its very important to be close to your child as like Jude not all babies come out of hospital, and being able to stay so close incase your needed during the night or you can try amd get some sleep at some point during the day if baby was not good during the night and you stayed awake with them. This house really helps families like us.
We have raised £3400 for 2 cuddle cots and they have been purchased, through this page, funeral money and fundraisers.
We are £1700 short of our £5000 target for the Ronald House.
