Story

"Those that live on water"

In February 2024, I embarked on a life affirming trip to Ghana, which is the birth place of my parents. I was introduced to a Nzulezo tribe, who are named "Those that live on water"

The village is built on stilts on the Tandane lake. In Nzulezo, community and nature are the essential basis for the survival of this unique village in Ghana. This unique echo system strangled between the modern world and local traditional values is in danger. With rising inflation, increasing tourism, climate change and almost no state support, the consequences could be disastrous for the life balance of the inhabitants. Nzulezo has become my inspiration to help not just this community, but all impoverished communities around the world.
