Journey to the Core 2: Cardiff to Paris

For those of you who follow their journey, you might remember that 3 years ago Tina and Nia cycled the length of Wales (from Bangor to Cardiff) on a tandem bike.

Well, they've decided to go again, but this time they're going further! Between the dates May 27th - June 10th they will be travelling from Cardiff to Paris.

Why? The reason is to raise disability awareness, to change attitudes and to raise some much needed funds for two brilliant charities.

Tina has a neurological condition called Friedreich's Ataxia, and uses a wheelchair as a tool for her independence. They will cycle on a hase pino adapted tandem. You can find more information on: All info can be found on our Journey to the core website page http://humanonwheels.com/the-challenge/

We encourage and would very much appreciate your support during this challenge, whether you cycle with us for sections, come out to cheer us on, send messages on social media or sponsor us.

We have decided to share the fund raised between two charities close to both Tina and Nia's hearts, they both contribute to hers and disabled people's wellbeing. They enable disabled people to enjoy the freedom and thrill of adventure sports.

Ski4All Wales - Charity that runs skiing sessions for disabled people people, weekly, at Ski Pembrey.

Tonic Surf - Charity that runs daily sessions for groups or one to one adapted surfing, in Pembrokeshire.
