I've raised £3000 to Keep our Family together, while Josh receives treatment abroad

This page is for my son, Josh. Josh is a 16 year old young man who loves to ride horses and has worked with horses and other animals for a most of his life. He is a hard working student, with a positive attitude to learning new things in and outside the classroom. Josh also has a great circle of friends and likes to socialise with them regularly. But, in his true teenage style he also loves his bed and sleeping in.
Anyone who knows Josh will always compliment his smiley face and his kind nature.
However, a few months ago, unfortunately Josh was diagnosed with an aggressive form of of soft tissue cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma, and has already begun a 27 week course of chemotherapy. Josh will also have to endure surgery and Proton Therapy . Its not going to be easy for Josh but he rarely complains and if you ask him he is always 'fine' or 'not too bad' and mostly still has a smile on his face.
After this devastating diagnosis, many friends and family members have been asking about a funding page to support Josh, but at the time, we didn't feel there was a reason to fund for Josh alone as the NHS are funding all of Josh's treatment and healthcare, however now we have been told the next part of Josh's treatment will be abroad. Josh will need to be abroad for 12 weeks. Josh is trying to stay positive about this as always. However as his mum the thought of having to split my time between being with Josh and being with my other two children Jack & Ollie fills me with dread and anxiety.
I'm turning to this page and reaching out to my wonderful friends and family to help fund me to keep my family together - We are lucky that the NHS will be funding the medical care and accomodation for Josh, myself and his dad however me, Josh, Jack & Ollie have decided we all need to stay together so we can all keep each others sprites high and support each other through this time. In order to take my two younger boys i will need to raise the funds for larger accomodation and flights.
We would like to say a huge Thank You in advance for you kind generosity
We are also planning a few fundraising events for the TCT and the T12 ward at UCLH where Josh receives his treatment. The fist one being, a charity head shave organised by Josh's dad on the 23rd of September at the George and Dragon pub in Watton at Stone whereby Josh will be completely shaving some volunteers' heads. Josh is also planning a charity Halloween bash (details to follow)
