For my Bar mitzvah I‘ve decided to ‘walk and talk‘ to:

a) Remind everyone of how important it is to look after our mental health

b) Raise money for 2 great charities:

Jami‘s Children and Young Person’s Service - aimed at addressing the mental health needs of teens through one-to-one support, ongoing assessment, liaison with schools Children and Young Person's Service https://jamiuk.org/

The Jordan Legacy - donations could be used to sponsor online educational suicide prevention events, deliver talks and work on joint community projects to help prevent suicides, help subsidise the cost of therapy or counselling for someone who is unable to fund such services but is in urgent need of help, provide a vital lifeline to someone experiencing poor mental health by allowing our skilled team and Mental Health First Aiders to support and direct someone to a safe space and resources. https://thejordanlegacy.com/
