Story
Earlier this year I asked for help from friends and colleagues for my friends and workmate Jordan Pruden who had been diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma. Sadly I am now asking for your help once again as Jordan's cancer has now spread to his Lymph Nodes, Liver and Brain.
The doctors have said that Jord has limited time left and now his focus has changed to support his children Grace, Connor, Sharna and Joel as they look to their future without him.
When we asked for help before, the show of compassion and love for Jordan was overwhelming. We really couldn't believe the generosity that everyone gave him. Not only by giving money but also in the messages and offers of help and support that he received.
In Jord's working life he helped others by bringing love and kindness to families that have lost people. He was an excellent Funeral Director and the families he helped were always grateful for his support.
A couple of days ago I visited Jordan to talk about funeral arrangements, I've known him and his family since he was about twelve years old and it seemed so wrong to be doing this. Jordan was very brave and was concerned with his children's future over everything. He also wanted to spare his family the decisions that would need to be made when the time comes.
Thanks for reading this message and please accept our thanks for any help that you can give.

Jord found peoples love and generosity overwhelming throughout his illness and was always thankful for all the support that he was given. On behalf of Jordan and all his family I'd like to thank you once again. David. x

7 years agoHello everyone, Jordan had a lovely Christmas day with the children and all his family around him. They all went out for Christmas dinner so nobody had to do the washing up. He got the best christmas Jumper ever from Jennie and was thoroughly spoilt by everyone. Thanks again for all your generous donations you are amazing people. Please keep sharing the page so as many people see Jord's story. Best wishes for a peaceful New Year, David.
