Myself and two nursing colleagues have decided to use our annual leave and volunteer at Tigoni District Hospital in Kenya for three weeks in 2018.

The hospital sadly has to reuse equipment due to lack of funds and the local orphanage is also in great need of equipment ranging from learning aids to toys. We are hoping to supply new and clean equipment so all donations towards this would be gratefully received and appreciated.

The charity we are volunteering with have requested that all equipment is purchased locally in Kenya, thus improving the well-being of the local community and putting business back into the local economy.
