Hi everyone,

I’m raising funds for my husband, Jon Jordan, who has no idea I’m doing this (and will almost certainly kill me when he finds out!).

Jon began his strongman journey at the age of 34 in 2017 and has shown unwavering dedication ever since. His passion and perseverance paid off in 2023 when he won the title of Guernsey’s Strongest Man. Throughout 2024, he broadened his horizons, competing in various UK events, including Fareham’s Strongest, England’s Strongest Masters and most recently, Britain’s Strongest Masters in November 2024. These achievements are a testament to his dedication, discipline, and love for the sport.

Jon has been invited to participate in the 2025 Arnold Master’s Strongman Championship in Columbus, Ohio, on 2nd March 2025—an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete on the same stage as some of the most renowned athletes in the strongman world.

The event is taking place as part of The Arnold Sports Festival, the largest and most prestigious annual multi-sport event in the world where nearly 200,000 fans will watch an estimated 22,000 athletes from 80 nations compete in 70 sports.

The invitation is in itself a huge achievement that Jon has worked so incredibly hard to earn. However, we face significant costs for the two of us to travel from our Channel Island home in Guernsey and secure accommodation in Ohio for this event. As working parents in a family of 5, the expense is beyond what we can comfortably justify, even though Jon absolutely deserves this chance to shine on an international stage.

This is where I hope you can help. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go toward covering the costs of travel and accommodation, ensuring Jon can represent Guernsey and the UK and make this particular strongman dream a reality.
