Iʼve raised £190 to The Hind Hotel, Wellingborough. A local Iconic Grade II listed Hotel In Wellingborough, Northants.

Story
This is the Iconic Hind Hotel in Wellingborough a Grade II listed building, I have a history with this building going back over 50 decades.
Today this Hotel went into administration, the staff have decided to continue running the hotel for free, no wages until the new owners management team can be put in place.
The staff need some help in running the Hotel for approx two weeks, but they need help to buy bar stock and kitchen supplies for the bar and restaurant.
Although the staff have offered to work for free until the new management team come in (there are staff tips donation boxes on the bar, in the Restaurant and reception) they need the supplies to keep running until then.
Please if you can spare anything from £1.00 up it will help towards keeping this fantastic venue open for all to use and enjoy.

8 years agoThank you all for donating and helping out, these funds are going to help the staff keep going for as long as possible until the new management team take over, hopefully within the next few weeks, until then the staff are working for free, just to keep the doors open and to ensure they still have a job. Not only are they working for free at this time they are also making sure there is fresh linen for the guests by taking it home, washing and ironing it themselves.

Once a year my parents would take me and my brother for a meal there. My first experience of posh. (It was the 80's). Can't tell you what a big deal it was and how wowed I felt.
