Story
John o’Groats Football Club: John o’Groats to Land’s End Challenge
John o’Groats Football Club is taking on an epic challenge, traveling the length of the UK from John o’Groats to Land’s End, to raise vital funds for both our football club and the John o’Groats Playpark Fund. This monumental journey spans over 800 miles, and we’re determined to complete it to support two important causes for our local community.
Funds raised will go towards improving facilities and equipment for John o’Groats FC, helping us to continue nurturing local talent and promoting grassroots football. Additionally, we’re proud to support the John o’Groats Playpark Fund, which is working to build a brand-new playpark for the area’s children. This new playpark will be a safe, fun space where kids can play and grow, making it a crucial addition to our community.
Every donation will help us achieve our goals and bring something special to the John o’Groats community. Please support us in making a difference, one step at a time!

5 months agoHi all, Apologies for the lack of updates. As of today (Saturday 26th) we have covered 351.67 Miles, with 522.32 miles to go! Just over 40% complete, and if we were doing it for real, we'd be at Moffat in the Borders. According to Google Maps, we are only 30 miles to the Border. Please continue sponsoring us, and thanks to all that have already sponsored. It's for a worthy cause as we look to help the Playpark fundraiser hit it's end of year target!

5 months agoGood evening to anyone reading. Some good progress over the last two days. Bikes, hikes, rowing and running, we’ve covered 176.5 miles so far. Had we been doing this we’d be just passed the Kingussie turn off on the A9. Totals so far Miles done - 176.5 Miles left - 696.21 Percentage complete - 20.34% Have a good weekend!
