After learning his craft in the 1960s behind the wheel of Austin Sevens, 750 Motor Club Vice President John Miles went on to compete at the highest echelons of world motorsport, not to mention later working in vehicle dynamics for some of the most prestigious names in the business.

The 750 Motor Club always stayed close to his heart, and he took particular delight in helping to nurture driving and technical talent in the Club’s formulae. Whilst his expertise, wisdom and wit will forever be sorely missed, his family would be delighted for John’s legacy to remain within the Club by continuing to part-fund a prize alongside 750MC for promising drivers, and request that any donations go towards this worthy cause.
