Story
Our desire is to support the family of John MacKinnon, immediately follow the tragic events of Wednesday 10th August, 2022. John was attacked and killed in a firearms incident at his home in Teangue, on the Isle of Skye.
The family of 47-year-old John MacKinnon have released a statement through Police Scotland following his death in Skye.
They said: “John was a loving husband, father of six, brother, uncle and grandfather to his family, and was a much-loved member of the community."
“John loved the outdoors, was a keen motorcyclist and, as a loved father, shared his activities with his family.”
This fund is organised by Sleat Community Trust, a charity registered in Scotland: SCO35316

2 years agoThe MacKinnon family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone that contributed to the just giving page. In the summer our family faced a horrific scene that ended in a tragedy. With the help given, it has and will enable us to repair both the physical and psychological damage to our house. This has helped make our home feel again like home. We can now only hope and pray that 2023 is going to bring happier brighter days for us all. Thank you all so much.
