Actions speak louder than words.
Myself and Simon Prior are putting together a go fund me page to raise money for the UK County Athletics Union to support the survival of Inter-Counties Cross Country. It’s 95 years old this year and financially it’s not got a lot in the coffers about £8,000. As it’s my birthday I’d like to do something to protect this association for the future of our young athletes as well as protect athletes, coaches, clubs and counties. The inter-counties championships means a lot to me. I’ve contributed for years to different charities but I want to do something to now help my sport and especially this cause. It costs the CAU about 35k to host this championship and so myself and Simon have set an ambitious target of £10,000 to help. I hope you can all contribute what you can. Thanks in advance from myself and Simon.

Inter-counties XC has been a key development route for our county squad youngsters.Many going on to be national level seniors. Given organisation and support it should be the top XC event of the year!
