The Ian Daly Swim A Mile With A Smile is an annual sponsored swim in aid of Child Cancer Care. All proceeds go to two very worthy charities Barretstown and Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

The Ian Daly Swim A Mile With A Smile is an annual sponsored swim in aid of Child Cancer Care. All proceeds go to two very worthy charities Barretstown and Crumlin Children’s Hospital. The goal of the event is for swimmers to be sponsored to swim a mile, on their own or as part of a relay team. This makes it a very achievable goal for swimmers of all abilities. The 2016 swim raised €25,000 for Barretstown and Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin. 2016 was the 13th year of the swim and in that time the event has raised over €525,000 which has been divided equally between Barretstown and Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
