Story
Aureole Music
We began as an online choir in the pandemic, raising money for other charities and keeping a sense of community singing together during the lockdowns. After the pandemic we have turned our attention to bringing singing and music to vulnerable members of our community. We have teams of volunteers who go out to sing together in care homes in our Monday Melodies project, encouraging the listeners to 'join the choir' and sing with us. We also provide a choir and speech and language therapy for people living with Parkinson's, coming together weekly as the 'Sparky Parkies' to sing together, to work on strengthening voices and most of all to have fun.
We love to sing together, and bring joy and cognitive stimulation to people who may otherwise be unable to access such activities.

4 years agoSo proud to have reached over £3000 in our fundraising since March! With the track sales added to the sum raised on Just Giving we have smashed the £3000 mark and are now aiming to raise lots of money this Christmas by bringing people together to sing Messiah! Come and join us why don’t you?!

4 years agoWe have just withdrawn our first £2000 to add to our track sales and distribute to our chosen charities. We are starting the next fundraising campaign to help the lonely and isolated this Christmas, so please do keep giving generously! We’ll be recording new tracks and have some great ideas on the go for new community projects!
